Do I need an account?

No. Without an account everything stays on your device. You only need one to move data between devices or to use Talev on the web.

Can Talev read my data?

No. With an account your contracts are encrypted on your device before upload. Only your recovery code opens the key.

I lost my recovery code.

Then the synced data can't be recovered, by anyone. If a device is still signed in, create a new code there (Settings → Account & backup). Otherwise you can start sync over; the data on your device stays.

Are my photos and PDFs uploaded?

No. Documents stay on the device. To move them to a new phone use Settings → Your data → Export, then Import on the new device.

Does scanning use the cloud?

No. Text recognition and extraction run on your device only.

Are the computed deadlines binding?

No. They are suggestions based on common terms. Your policy documents decide; you can adjust every deadline.

Can I use Talev in a browser?

Yes, at app.talev.eu, with your account and your recovery code.

What does Talev cost?

The first 7 days are free, with every feature. Then you choose: €2.99 per year as a subscription, or €9.99 once as a lifetime unlock, no subscription. Domain, servers, storage and email cost money; in return there are no ads, no tracking and no data selling.

How do I cancel?

Through your store: iPhone → Settings → your name → Subscriptions; Android → Google Play → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancel during the trial and nothing is charged.

What happens without a subscription or lifetime unlock?

Your data stays readable in the app; you can export it and delete your account. Nothing is deleted. Adding, editing, scanning, importing, the needs check, reminders and the web version need an active subscription or the lifetime unlock.

I switched phones.

Tap “Restore purchases” in the app (same Apple ID or Google account). With a Talev account your subscription also counts on the web and on your other devices.
